Success in Zacatecas

Hey everyone, I ended up losing 2nd round in three sets it Leon. I ran into a good player and didn’t quite play the level I had in the first round. While I was fairly happy with my first tournament back, I was able to improve my game even more in Zacatecas. I grinded through qualifying again and pulled out three good matches in the main draw to make the semifinals. There I ran up against the number one seed and should of won the match. I won the first 6-4 and had a match point serving at 5-4 in the second when he hit a slice return that clipped the net and went over. It ended up being a very expensive point but I was happy with the match as well as the tournament. As a result of making the semifinals, I was able to get a special exemption into the main draw of Monterrey this week. So far Monterrey has been great. The housing I got this week is very nice and the city seems pretty cool. Overall, my trip to Mexico has been awesome and hopefully this week I can continue to pick up some points as well as find some time to enjoy the city.
